R&D Info Blog was developed as a news and research tool for professionals who are interested in, or are currently taking the Research and Development Tax Credit. It is wholly moderated and written by the staff at R&D Incentives Group which is a corporate tax consultancy that specializes in the computation and defense of the R&D Tax Credit across a wide range of industries. The editorial staff is comprised of tax professionals with extensive experience in generating, documenting and sustaining the R&D tax credit at the federal and state levels.

Helen HanHelen Han is a Manager with R&D Incentives Group and has been involved with assisting CPA firms and their clients with identifying and securing various tax incentives since 2011. Her experience encompasses servicing a wide variety of clients across a broad range of industries including: consumer products, manufacturing, job shops, architecture, engineering, software development, and food & beverage. Helen is a frequent guest speaker on the topic of research tax credits for CPA firms, tax practitioners, financial management teams, and other industry executives.

Jeff WooJeff Woo is a Director at R&D Incentives Group who joined the team in 2011.  His primary responsibilities include managing client and referral partner relationships and helping the team provide a consistent message to clients, partners, and prospects regarding RDIG.  He is also responsible for managing the Business Development team. His former experience includes over 15 years experience as a Director with a variety of enterprise tax solutions including the Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC) and the Enterprise Zone Credit (EZ).

Jennylynn Delemios is an Associate with R&D Incentives Group and has been involved with assisting CPA firms and their clients with identifying and securing various tax incentives since 2014. Her experience encompasses servicing a wide variety of clients across a broad range of industries including: consumer products, manufacturing, job shops, architecture, engineering, software development and food & beverage. Previous to working in the R&D tax credit consulting industry, Jennylynn worked as a Creative Director in the entertainment industry.

William ChangWilliam Chang is a Managing Director at R&D Incentives Group with more than 13 years of experience whose primary responsibilities include providing tax credit consulting services to CPAs and their clients, managing RDIG’s relationship with its referral partners, and managing active audits. William has extensive knowledge of federal and state tax credits and incentives and is a frequent guest speaker for CPA firms. Prior to joining the R&D Incentives Group team, William founded The Enterprise Zone Company, a tax credit consulting firm based in Southern California.

Johanna Rojas is an Associate with R&D Incentives Group and has been involved with assisting CPA firms and their clients with identifying and securing various tax incentives since 2008. Her experience encompasses servicing a wide variety of clients across a broad range of industries including: consumer products, manufacturing, job shops, architecture, engineering, software development and food & beverage. Previous to her work in the R&D tax credit consulting space, Johanna worked extensively with the Enterprise Zone (EZ) tax credit.

Paul Nguyen

Paul Nguyen is a Director managing the technical team on calculating and documenting the Research & Development tax credit for small to mid-market companies. He has been involved in all aspects of research tax credit studies including interviewing technical subject matter experts, drafting and reviewing legal memoranda, performing quantitative and qualitative analyses and audit defense. Prior to joining R&D Incentives Group, Paul led multiple R&D engagements for Fortune 500 companies in KPMG LLP’s Los Angeles office.
